An elderly man walked into a jewelry store to buy an expensive locket for his girlfriend.
After wrapping it, the jeweler asked,
“Would you like me to engrave her name on it?”
The old man thought for a moment and then smiled.
“No,” he said.
“Just engrave these words instead…”
‘To My One and Only Love.’
The jeweler looked a little puzzled.
The old man grinned and explained,
“That way, if we ever break up and she throws it back at me, I can use it again.”
