A brand-new retirement home opened in the community with separate floors for men and women.
A few weeks after it opened, all the residents were invited to the recreation room for an important meeting.
One of the staff members explained the rules.
“After visiting hours, men are not allowed on the women’s floor, and women are not allowed on the men’s floor.”
The staff member continued,
“Anyone who breaks this rule will be fined $25 for the first offense, $50 for the second offense, and $100 for the third offense.”
A man sitting in the back of the room raised his hand.
The room became quiet as he asked,
“How much does a season pass cost?”
