An old man was sitting quietly in a small diner, enjoying his pancakes and coffee.
Suddenly, three rough-looking bikers walked in. They noticed the old man sitting alone and decided to have some fun at his expense.
The first biker walked over and stubbed his cigarette out right in the old man’s pancakes.
The diner became completely silent.
The old man simply looked at his ruined breakfast and said nothing.
The second biker walked over, leaned toward the table, and spit a large blob of chewing tobacco into the old man’s coffee.
Still, the old man remained calm.
Then the third biker laughed, grabbed the plate and coffee cup, and swept everything onto the floor.
The dishes crashed loudly.
Everyone expected the old man to lose his temper, but he didn’t.
Instead, he calmly stood up, dusted off his jacket, walked to the counter, paid for his breakfast, and quietly left the diner.
The three bikers laughed and sat down at his table.
Biker:
“Well, he certainly wasn’t much of a man.”
The waitress looked out the window and shrugged.
Waitress:
“Yeah… and apparently, he’s not much of a driver either.”
The bikers looked confused.
Biker:
“What do you mean?”
The waitress pointed toward the parking lot.
Waitress:
“That old man just drove his 18-wheeler truck right over three of your motorcycles.”
