A dog walked into a butcher shop, and the butcher asked,
“What would you like?”
The dog pointed to a steak in the display case.
“How many pounds?” asked the butcher.
The dog barked twice.
“Anything else?”
The dog pointed to some pork chops and barked four times.
The butcher wrapped up a two-pound steak and four pork chops and placed the package in the dog’s mouth.
He then took the money from a small purse tied around the dog’s neck and sent him on his way.
A customer, who had been watching in amazement, decided to follow the dog.
Several blocks later, the dog arrived at a house and rang the doorbell.
When the owner opened the door, the customer said,
“What a remarkable dog!”
“Remarkable?” the owner replied with a snort.
“This is the second time this week he’s forgotten his keys.”
