A young boy was walking down the street with a monkey sitting on his shoulder when a police officer stopped him.
The officer smiled and said,
“Young man, I think you should take that monkey to the zoo.”
The boy nodded and continued on his way.
The next day, the officer saw the boy again with the monkey still sitting on his shoulder.
Surprised, the officer said,
“Hey! I thought I told you to take that monkey to the zoo!”
The boy smiled and replied,
“I did! Today I’m taking him to the movies.”
