A married couple was walking through a garden when a dog suddenly came running toward them.
They were both sure the dog was about to attack.
The husband quickly lifted his wife, hoping the dog would bite him instead of his sweetheart.
The dog stopped in front of them, looked confused, barked a few times, and then ran away.
The husband gently put his wife back on the ground, expecting a hug and a few grateful words.
Instead, his wife shouted,
“I’ve seen people throw stones and sticks at dogs, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen someone try to throw his wife at one!”
