A woman found a magic bottle, rubbed it, and suddenly a genie appeared.
Woman:
“Do I get three wishes?”
Genie:
“Nope, sorry. Three-wish genies are just a storybook myth. I’m a one-wish genie. So, what will it be?”
The woman didn’t hesitate.
Woman:
“I want a bridge to Hawaii.”
The genie looked at a map and sighed.
Genie:
“Lady, be reasonable! I’ve been stuck in a bottle for five hundred years. I’m out of shape. I’m good, but I’m not that good! I don’t think I can build a bridge to Hawaii. Make another wish, and please be reasonable.”
The woman thought for a moment.
Woman:
“Well, I’ve never been able to find the right man. I want someone who’s considerate and fun, romantic, likes to cook and help around the house, is a good partner, gets along with my family, doesn’t watch sports all the time, and is faithful. That’s my wish—a good man.”
The genie sighed.
Genie:
“Let me see that map again.”
