An elderly man had two very lazy sons.
Before he passed away, he wrote a will that said,
“After my death, tear down this house. Beneath the foundation, you will find a metal box containing my savings. It will be enough to support you for the rest of your lives.”
The two sons became excited.
Instead of working hard, they began hoping their father would pass away soon so they could collect the money.
Two years later, the old man died and was buried.
The very next day, the brothers tore down the entire house and dug beneath the foundation.
Sure enough, they found a metal box.
They quickly opened it, expecting to find a fortune.
Inside was only a piece of paper that read:
“If you are real men, build your own house and stop being lazy.”
