A husband and wife were sitting in a lawyer’s office, preparing their wills.
The lawyer suggested that they also discuss their end-of-life wishes and how they wanted to be cared for if they ever became seriously ill.
The husband turned to his wife and said,
“Please promise me that if I’m ever kept alive only by machines and bottled fluids, you’ll take action and end it right away.”
His wife smiled and replied,
“Of course, dear.”
They finished their wills, signed the paperwork, and went home.
As soon as they got home, the wife walked into the living room, unplugged the TV, took her husband’s beer, and poured it down the drain.
