An elderly lady walked into a pharmacy and asked the assistant for some “bottom deodorant.”
The pharmacist looked puzzled.
Pharmacist:
“I’m sorry, but we don’t sell bottom deodorant. We’ve never carried it.”
The woman was certain she had bought it there before.
Old Lady:
“But I always buy it here. I’d like another one, please.”
Pharmacist:
“I’m sorry, but we don’t have anything like that. Do you still have the container it came in?”
Old Lady:
“Yes! I’ll go home and get it.”
She returned a short while later and handed the container to the pharmacist.
He looked at it and smiled.
Pharmacist:
“This is just a regular stick of underarm deodorant.”
The annoyed woman grabbed the container, looked at the instructions, and read aloud:
Old Lady:
“To apply, push up the bottom.”
