A game show host welcomed a rabbit onto the stage and picked up the first question card.
“Let’s begin with an easy one,” the host said. “What is 7 plus 5?”
“Twelve,” the rabbit answered.
“Correct!” said the host. “Now for the second question. What is 56 minus 37?”
The rabbit paused for a moment before replying,
“Nineteen.”
“That’s right!” the host said. “Now it’s time for the grand prize question.”
He smiled and asked,
“What is 1,297 multiplied by 142?”
Without the slightest hesitation, the rabbit answered,
“184,174.”
The audience applauded, and the host looked amazed.
“That’s absolutely correct! But how did you work it out so quickly?”
The rabbit grinned and said,
“Oh, that’s easy. If there’s one thing rabbits are good at, it’s multiplying!”
