An elderly man bought a well from a clever businessman.
The next day, as the old man was on his way to the market, he met the seller.
The businessman smiled and said,
“I sold you the well, but I never sold you the water inside it. If you want to use the water, you’ll have to pay me for it.”
The old man looked at him for a moment and smiled.
“That’s interesting,” he said.
“I was actually on my way to ask you to remove your water from my well. If you decide to leave it there, you’ll have to pay me rent for storing it in my well.”
