A patient came running into the doctor’s office, shouting in pain.
Patient:
“Doctor, please help me! I’ve been stung by a bee!”
Doctor:
“Don’t worry. I’ll put some cream on it.”
Patient:
“You’ll never find that bee. It must be miles away by now!”
Doctor:
“No, you misunderstand. I’ll put some cream on the place where you were stung.”
Patient:
“Oh! It happened in the garden while I was sitting under a tree.”
The doctor sighed.
Doctor:
“No, no! I mean, which part of your body did the bee sting?”
Patient:
“My finger! The bee stung my finger, and it really hurts!”
Doctor:
“Which finger?”
Patient:
“How am I supposed to know? All bees look the same to me!”
And that’s why doctors have to have a lot of patients!
