Little Johnny’s Plan
A policeman was walking down the street one day when he noticed a very small boy, Little Johnny, trying to press a doorbell on a house across the street.
Johnny was so small that he couldn’t quite reach the doorbell.
After watching the boy struggle for a while, the policeman decided to help.
He crossed the street, walked up behind Johnny, and gently placed a hand on the child’s shoulder. Then he leaned over and gave the doorbell a firm ring.
The policeman crouched down to Johnny’s level, smiled kindly, and asked,
“And now what, my little man?”
“Now we run!”
