One day, Little Johnny’s dad stopped at the supermarket.
He was only inside for about five minutes.
When he came back outside, he saw a police officer writing a parking ticket.
He walked over and said,
“Come on, officer. How about giving a guy a break?”
The officer ignored him and continued writing the ticket.
Annoyed, Johnny’s dad muttered an insult.
The officer looked at him, then started writing a second ticket for worn tires.
Johnny’s dad made another sarcastic comment.
The officer calmly placed the second ticket on the windshield and began writing a third.
The more Johnny’s dad complained and insulted the officer, the more tickets the officer wrote.
By the time he finished, there were five parking tickets tucked under the windshield wipers.
Johnny’s dad didn’t seem bothered at all.
After all…
The car was parked around the corner.
