Little Johnny was having trouble in English class, so his teacher decided to visit his home after school to speak with his parents about his poor performance.
When she rang the doorbell, Johnny answered.
Teacher:
“Hello, Johnny. I’d like to speak with your mother or father.”
Johnny:
“Sorry, but they ain’t here.”
Teacher:
“What’s going on with your grammar?”
Johnny:
“Haven’t got a clue.”
The teacher looked confused.
Johnny:
“But Dad sure was mad that they had to go bail her out again!”
