One day, two young brothers, Johnny and Billy, aged 12 and 14, came home with a €20 note and a €50 note.
Their mother looked surprised and asked,
“Where did you get all that money?”
The 12-year-old replied,
“We were standing outside a brothel when a man came out.”
“We told him we knew where he had been, so he asked us not to tell anyone and gave us €20.”
Then the older brother added,
“We followed him home. When he got there, we told him that now we also knew where he lived. He gave us another €50 and begged us to keep quiet.”
Their mother frowned.
“That’s terrible behavior. You should be ashamed of yourselves and feel sorry for that man. Now go to church and confess your sins.”
The boys did as they were told and went to the church to confess to the priest.
A little while later, they came home with €100 more.
Their mother looked shocked.
“What happened?”
The boys smiled and said,
“Now we also know where the man works!”
