A young boy named Dave lived in a small village.
None of his classmates liked him because they thought he was very stupid. His teacher especially had little patience with him and was always saying,
“Dave… you’re driving me crazy!”
One day, Dave’s mother came to the school to ask how her son was doing.
The teacher honestly told her,
“Your son is a complete disaster. He gets very low marks, and I’ve never taught a boy as foolish as him.”
Dave’s mother was heartbroken.
She took her son out of the school and moved to another town.
Twenty-five years later, the same teacher was diagnosed with a serious heart condition.
The doctors told her she needed open-heart surgery, and there was only one surgeon qualified to perform it.
The operation was successful.
When she opened her eyes, she saw a tall, handsome doctor smiling down at her.
She wanted to thank him, but she couldn’t speak.
Suddenly, her face turned blue.
She raised her hand, trying to warn him about something, but she died before she could say a word.
The doctor was shocked and couldn’t understand what had happened.
Then he turned around and saw Dave, who was working as a cleaner in the hospital.
Dave had unplugged the oxygen machine so he could plug in his vacuum cleaner.
Don’t tell me you thought Dave became a doctor!
Sometimes I worry about you.
