Dan married one of a pair of identical twins.
Less than a year later, he was in court filing for a divorce.
The judge asked,
“Tell the court why you want a divorce.”
Dan replied,
“Well, Your Honor, every once in a while my sister-in-law would come over to visit. Since she and my wife are identical twins, sometimes I would end up with the wrong one by mistake.”
The judge looked puzzled and said,
“Surely there must be some difference between the two women.”
Dan nodded and replied,
“Exactly, Your Honor. That’s why I want the divorce.”
