A mother decided to give her 10-year-old daughter, Cathy, a practical birthday present.
“How about we open a savings account for you?” she suggested.
Cathy was thrilled with the idea.
When they arrived at the bank, her mother handed her the application form and said,
“This is your account, so you can fill out the form yourself.”
Cathy worked through the questions without any trouble until she reached one that asked:
“Name of your former bank.”
She paused for a moment, looked at her mother, and then carefully wrote,
“Piggy.”
