Yesterday, I received a friend request from a young, attractive guy who looked about 19 or 20 years old.
I was curious. I wanted to know why someone so young would want an elderly woman like me as a Facebook friend.
So, I accepted his request.
Before long, he started sending me private messages.
He called me beautiful and asked how old I was.
I’m not a liar, so I told him my age and reminded him that I was quite a bit older than he was.
We kept chatting for a while, and, truth be told, a little flattery never hurts!
After some time, he asked if we could talk about “adult things.”
I said, “Sure.”
Then he replied, “Thank you, babe. You start.”
So I did!
I told him about adult things like my arthritis, how badly my knees hurt, and how my back acts up whenever the weather gets cold.
I told him I suffer from terrible insomnia.
I even mentioned that I have a pacemaker.
And, of course, I didn’t forget to tell him about my laxatives.
I also proudly mentioned that I have a very good set of dentures.
I was as honest as I could possibly be about “adult things.”
But for some strange reason, he blocked me!
I really don’t understand young people these days.
