The mother-in-law came home and found her son-in-law, Johnny, furiously packing his suitcase.
Mother-in-Law:
“What happened?”
Johnny:
“What happened? I’ll tell you what happened! I emailed my wife to tell her I was coming home from my trip today. When I got home, I found your daughter, Rachel, in our bed with another man! That’s it. Our marriage is over. I’m leaving for good!”
Mother-in-Law:
“Calm down! Something doesn’t seem right. Rachel would never do that. Wait here while I find out what happened.”
A few moments later, the mother-in-law returned with a huge smile.
Mother-in-Law:
“You see? I knew there had to be a simple explanation.”
Johnny:
“What is it?”
Mother-in-Law:
“Rachel never received your email!”
