One day, Little Johnny was moving to his father’s house.
He packed everything from his room into a little red wagon and began pulling it down the road.
When he reached a steep hill, the wagon became very hard to pull.
As he struggled, he muttered,
“This thing is so heavy!”
A priest nearby overheard him and walked over.
“Johnny,” he said, “you shouldn’t use that kind of language.”
“Remember, God hears everything. He’s everywhere—in the church, on the sidewalk, and all around us.”
Johnny looked at him and asked,
“Is God in my wagon too?”
The priest smiled and replied,
“Yes, Johnny. God is in your wagon.”
Johnny nodded and said,
“Well, then tell Him to get out and start pulling!”
